I had my one out in Brighton last night. (Black one heavily modded) Was casting for a film

aaaaah, so youd be on smcc then! howd the casting go?

I went to the smcc one but not with the car, the chap asked me to bring the car down later at 20.30 turns out he wants it as the lead car. Will find out for deffinate if it will be today.

The director is going to send me some details today after he's cleared with some other folks about the Zed being lead car. From what he's told me it's a romance type film based around street racing and cruising. They are going to be filming a cruise scene down Brighton and are after as many people as possible attending. Filming of it starts around 18th November and is due for cinema release next year.

think it was friday night or saturday night. pulled in at the BP on lewes road. it had a bodykit with shark front iirc. silver all round and nice lookin!

I haven't had the zed very long so I doubt you've seen it before. I lived in Haywards Heath over 18 months ago (had a silver 33 GTR with c/f bonnet)Burgess before here and had a silver 32 GTR, you may have seen one of them about?

Being local you've probably seen my gf about with a graphic'd up yellow MR2? She's always about.

What's your motor look like, only seen a blue one and a silver one in the heath recently, I've got a silver SWB with a 99 spec front end and largish spoiler and a red LWB.

My Zed is a black one, kitted, high spoiler 33 GTR wheels, very loud. :D

M@1975. I see it says you drift in your profile. Do you have somewhere local you use? I have an s13 just for drifting, soon to have engine rebuilt now the big events are over then will be ready for a good spanking again.

I usually go down to Matchams mate, only a couple of hours away, a bit of late night (private road) street Dori is not uncommon. I'm just getting the 300 up to a good enough spec to drift, not the best at the moment, when the coilovers are on it'll make a big difference.

Lofty, was being a bit dim, your other half used to share a flat with Gemma didn't she, I think you'll know a few people that I do; Jonny Court with the Black Supra, Steve Gillies with the st165 celica, possibly Jim Chapman with the red S14.

Me, Steve and James are running ADL racing (mostly a drag and grip club), just a little car club but I'm also putting together a Drift team (Powerover) down here. All just a bit of a laugh really but it's all a good way of getting likeminded people together. :D

At the moment we're just going to the days organised by driftuk but we'll be happy to give passenger rides and offer to sit in with people if they want any help and advice about how to drift (lots of shouting "go faster!!", "pull the handbrake!" LOL).

Depends on who getin involved and what we can sort, will look at sourcing drift parts for people if they are interested...

Ah, yeah thats the Stacey. I know she knows a guy with the black Supra. I don't know them though, I haven't lived down this way long and soon to move back to south west.

crazy, small world!! haven't seen that MR2 actually man. you won't spot me unless you're lookin for a 205 gti, im not buying a 300 for a little while longer yet hehe

 

my sis's boyfriend adam has a white silvia with bodykit etc, you might see it around the heath. he's sometimes down at the green room if he ain't driftin in burgess hill or essex :) :)

 

would be well up for meeting up with you zedmen to take a look at some real cars before i buy mine ;)
