Nice clear roundabout, some throttle (where have you heard that one before...) weeeeeeee, arse swings out, oh no oh noooo too much.....

I'm not supposed to be facing this way. Luckily no one was on the roundabout and I didn't hit anything, but I've just discovered how easy it is to do that compared to an NA. I did the same thing in the rain yesterday when taking off with a bit too much right foot. I really didn't think I was giving it that much - it just squirmed out from under me and my heart was definately trying to squeeze out through my teeth.

Maybe it's something to do with the Nankang tyres. Why is it that it scared the crap out me but I want to do it again....(properly)

Racelogic Traction control will sort your problem. Dial in 10% slip on the control and give it as much throttle as you like to produce a cool controlled slide :D

Steve E

Speak to Legrath! He has 'issues' with roundabouts!

;)

Ha ha - I watched the video and thought, Ha! I'd never let the car get out of control like that....

I'd like Traction Control, only I don't think I can afford it yet with other things I want to do to the car, on the other hand, I might not have a car to do them to at this rate.

once you have had a practice in asda carpark you can then do it for fun, dont need traction control decent tyres practice and there you go :D

Yeah, I'd recommend the Asda/other supermarket of choice carpark method of training. As long as you don't go for one of those ones that's full of trees, bollards, and other such miscellaneous nonsense, which can obviously put a bit of a crimp in your day (not to mention your rear wings, alloys etc).

:D Rich,

Welcome to TT ownership :bow::bow:

Ahhhhh all the joys of a TT eh? Bit of advice, if u want to practice in an asda car park make sure it aint wet - the tarmac in asda is like an ice rink if its wet!!!!!

Uncontrollable Butt???

There's me thinking you were talking about flatulence ;)

Richard :D

No it's what happened to me when I thought the car was going to end up in the middle of the roundabout.

I like that butt wigglin dont you ?

Had same experiance a few days after i bought my turbo ZX just approached roundabout packed bus shelter jast past it (Behind Me) sqeezed the load pedal and proceeded down the road facing left then right then left then right then composed myself and proceeded at about 15 mph for 10 minutes. :smw:

So much fun in the wet but easily caught out !!

Way back in April 89 the very next day after I bought my Z. I volentered to go and get some milk and thought I'd go the long way to Ellsemere inco-operating the A525 to Whitchurch, A41 and then up through Wem.

It was a bit damp, but not really wet and I nailed it comming out of a corner so I could overtake a Ford Probe. "SH1T" or should I say "SSSHHHEEEIT".

I overtook the probe allright. The Guy must have thought I was a stunt driver on acid as I did 3 complete piroets past him at about 60 mph on the A49. I froze with my foot nailed firmly to the boards and miraculously stopped spinning with foot still nailed and pointing in the right direction. In the mirror I could see the cloud of smoke and the Prob, but I couldn't loose face and just sped off until I was out of his sight and pulled off up a lane.

I lit a fag and my leg started to shake and wouldn't stop for about 30 minutes. I have always had the greatist respect for my TT ever since.

  the Twin Turbo

Gentley on your right foot M8. Dodn't wan't to see another Crashed Zed.

The only rear end I like to see wiggle is MRS Bobby Ball's. LOL
