Set up a contract phone with T-mobile :mac1: and also set up direct debit as per usual! After 2months i kept getting letters saying your phone is in arrears and we need payment ASAP before we will disconnect your phone etc, unless payment is made. Now i have contacted them twice and said iv made contact and setup direct debit with yourselfs on two seperate occasions, they cut off my phone twice with 2 days notice, which is totally inconveniant :mac1:,iv said i will send a letter saying how dissatisfied with there service, question is where do i stand,as they say i will have to pay out the remaining 9months of the contract, anyone in the nohow of what i should do,and have been in a similar position!they also say if payment is not made my credit rating will be affected :(

check your bank statement and see if the payments have been coming out of your account. if so then there's the proof and they can go f**k themselves.

Yep, I'm with SkylineDave on this one. If you can prove they've taken the money out then they haven't got a leg to stand on.

no they havnt taken any money out but the inconveniance is more than deminishing :( twice cut my phone off when i have set debits up no problem so an error is made at the there end,no phonehad to go and by a crappy pay and go phone for now

if they have not taken payments then tecnically u owe them the payments obviuosly some one is not pressing right buttons on there computer cause you should have a direct debit mandate through the post which you need to sign and return for them to set up the direct debit

ive had a simmilsr problem buddy and the way to reslove this problem is to speak directly with a manager and tell him/her whats gone on and that you're wholly dissatisfied with the service provided an say that they can have their phone back. this way youll get out of the contract without having to pay the rest of the line rental. if however you want to keep the phone youll have to pay the rest of the line rental which subsidises the handset. REMEMBER YOU MUST REMAIN IN CONTROL AND DONT SWEAR USE THE ODD "RUBBISH" AND "THIS ISNT MY FIRST CONTRACT".

let me know how u get on

I've got a T-mobile contract too. What a bunch of :xxx: :xxx: :xxx:

Every month, the phone got cut off 2 weeks before the bill was due which just happened to be the day the free minutes/texts got topped up.

Every month they said, you went over your limit so you have to pay us £x before we reconnect you. So, i paid £x and guess what! It got cut off again. 'Sorry, we lowered your credit and now you have to pay £x again' And this kept happening 'til the full bill was nearly paid. And this is 2 weeks before it was due. Every fookin month!!!

So, i changed my contract to the shittest one they had (about £12 a month), threw away the sim, got the phone unlocked and stuck a O2 pay as you go sim in.

Bunch of :xxx:

Go to the place you bought it from and tell them to sort it. They will have all the details including the Direct Debit forms. Tell them if it´s not sorted you will go to the local trading standards. HTH
