New to the forum just bought my zed its got a blitz sbc type s fitted

hmm i dont know if the operation for the type R is the same as the type S. i would have thought so but ive never seen the S (i've got the R)

a pleasure Jim. once you figure out how to use the knobs to select different features, the important thing is to make sure your settings aren't to high, otherwise, BOOM!

 

try setting your max boost level [either 1,2,3 or 4 doesnt matter - like changing channels on a TV to get different settings] (called ratio) to 30 and your gain to 10. your max boost (warn - red screen) to 1.0 (bar - 14.5 psi)

these settings are nice and safe - take the car out for a thrash and if you dont hit your warning (ie. red screen and beep beep beep) then tweak up the settings a little (ratio +2, gain +1) and try again.

assuming your engine and tubbies are in good nick you should be able to hit something like gain 15 ratio 40.

again, dont be tempted to go too high as one overboost spike and its goodnight vienna. :cry:
