Ok I'm gona fit one of these as my hole cars getting painted. Who's got one? Whats the quality like? Do you have to splice the wiring or does it just plug in? Will it need painted off the car ??

Any pointers welcome

Thanks

Craig

I like the those potlights, but myself I would buy the 6 pot led version from Zcentre :)

Ken

They are the fiat lights bud-feckin horrid in my opinion!

The lambo ones are like this-four or six pot your choice!

Agree don't like the LED ones .. but the 6 lamp unit in yer pix looks cracking

any idea what the qualitys like Manta

I got em fitted as you cansee.

In my oppinion they could be a better fit. a LOT better, spent more getting them to fit than I did buying them.

Not bad!-Boldy has them on his Z but with clear lenses. He also had to fill the panel to get it flat, but hey! it's f/glass!-not bad price either from luke! ;)

theirs are some pics of my zeeeee on the 'random switch' thread i've got the four pot lambo rear lights, they were a piece of p**s to fit and the wiring loom just plugged in, though i would advise checking you've fitted it properly before you shut the boot! my spoiler was so heavy that it slammed the boot before i could tighten the unit and snapped my first one though BCS were kind enough to replace it with a new one free of charge so lucky all round i suppose!

Ok admit they do look great.. Much are they and do they come as one panel or three as I've seen ??

thanks

The only thing i can recomend is to fill the gaps with plenty of Tigerseal otherwise you will get exhaust gasses coming in the car. :hurl:

Don't know prices off-hand bud but Luke at the Zcentre sells em'!-just tell him what combination of lights you want and sorted! ;)

There were just over £230 but that was on a group buy price , in all i had to buy 6 reverse lights and 2 red tail lamps cos they have the fittings for stop and tail bulbs . i just swapped the lenses .

The indicators are nice and bright using amber bulbs but don,t use chromed bulbs THERE CRAP .

The fog light is a red stop and tail bulb ( supplied by Luke )if you file one of the pips off it will fit a single filliament bulb holder and once in both filliaments light up to give a nice bright red fog light :hyper:

Now the fun part, again using red bulbs in the tail lamps , as the bulbs are 21w for brake light and only 5w for tail lights, the brakes are fine but the tail lights were way too dim so i fitted red led,s around the edge of the reflector , slightly angled inwards to shine red light into the reflector , giving a nice bright tail lamp  and they pass the MOT ok after fitting a couple of stick on reflectors on the bumper :hyper:

I don,t know why i,m telling you all this as i,m the only one in the world with this set up :headvswal :headvswal I like to be different :D :D

Go for it , you know ya wanna !!!

Brilliant

Great info and pics must have taken you ages to get the setup working. It fantastic, much better than the four lamp tail unit, I think anyway. Bits have started arriving today so I'll get torn into it as soon as I can

Thanks Again

Craig
