It looks cool does that.

Yeah, it's a ****-off great big washing machine size box, you have to have the boot lid open all the time

Nice, I went to all the trouble of illuminating my old centre panel, then a year later upgraded to 99 spec, would love this. :D

BTW, in that pic, the panel is only powered by a 9volt battery, and not the cars 12 volt, hence it looking a little dim.

A genuine '99 spec RED illuminated rear panel! Ooooooooooooooooo arn't they nice

Errr ...NO.

Looks like a reject idea from "Pimp my Ride" :(

I thought all Jspec Zed's had luminous rear centre panels. Or it may be all later series Jspecs. Someone will probably put me right no doubt.

it was a jdm market only factory option but was expensive in japan and not many cars had them fitted.

mine did :hyper: :hyper:

but now she,s gone

Sorry guys, I've gota come clean on this one ;) they arn't mine!!!! I found the pics, and write-up, last night. And TBH, it did say that he wasn't sure that the red one was a genuine version, but he also had received a genuine Green one, both identicle, and both imported to the US from Japan. So I haven't forgoten about all the requests that I had earlier in the year for these panels, but I'm still looking into the best way to do these. The reason I say this is because my additional Red coating to the lettering (because it looks orange without it) that I applied fadded very quickly, so I'm looking for a better solution. But I've not had the time yet.

Still not made up my mind about them. Guess I'd have to see one in the flesh. Was sat behind some boyed up MGZR yesterday and they'd taken some of the LEDs out of the high level brake light. So when brake lights on, 'MGZR' illuminated on the high level brakelight. Thought that as most tacky though.
