Nice one Stuie, she's looking good.

Get your pics in the rides section as Geocities exceeds its data transfer all too easily.

Where did you get right hand drive auto Turbo 2+2 Z31 from?

Is it a Jap or Antipodean import, as they were only available in the UK as a 5 speed manual.

The auto 2 seater Turbo was popular in the US though!

US spec. 200bhp

UK spec. 228bhp

Jap spec.230bhp

They can be cheaply tuned up to approx 300bhp though! wink.gif

p.s. The Z31 was available in Japan with the z32 DOHC engine, but only in NA form. The turbos wouldn't fit, apparently. Although someone has fitted a TT engine to a Z31 in the US.But it was a Skyline TT engine! wink.gif

Stuie - I've checked the pics and can't find any proof that its a turbo tongue.gif That car isn't a turbo tongue.gif wink.gif

Wish we had a groovy digi dash in the Z32.. smile.gif

Or maybe not.. always wanted to fit one into my 5 tho.. Must be showing my 80's roots there I think smile.gif

Digi dashes are ARSE and a complete gimmick!

I had them in my Astra GTE and my Celica Soup and as soon as the sun shines you can't see feck all!

Give me analogue dials and guages any day. wink.gif

Well if digi dashes were good enough for Knight Industries 2000 then I want one! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Digital dash but he still has a turn knob radio tuner.

Stuart

Well spotted Stu, thats not Michael's original Kit, just some yanks attempt to recreate it. LMFAO biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Well I was gonna say that KITT wasnt there he was on the centre console, about where his radio is, and that red logo on the wheel, looks more like a Thundercats one. (Is that too young for you lot biggrin.gif )

And finally, KITT had a TV not a microwave! Hehehehe biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hi,

The Det. sensor on the top/front of the engine marks it out as a sohc z31 turbo engine.

The optional digital dash was only available in the US, Aus, and home markets ,I think. This piece of '80s technology is one of the main things to go wrong on these otherwise sound cars.

The later 88-90 facelift models were made of better quality steel, however. Not the recycled stuff that Nissan used to use in the 1980s. wink.gif
