My new claim to fame! Raced what I think was a 355 or a 360 ferrari convertable. Its a young guy that stays out near where I live. This was superb!

 

Hes only 22 and drives this 2 year old car and has a evo7 aswell! Hes always out posing and showing off in it ( Which makes it even better). Last friday I was on my way home from work with the girlfriend when he came flying up the outside and cut in infront of me at a roundabout and kiked the ass out trying to rile me up!

 

I know where he stays ( out a backroad near where I live) and can go home past his front door so Hes giving it big revs etc all the way through the town and I just followed him calmly knowing the chance to smoke him was goring ever closer!

 

when we hit the back road there is a big straight bit where there was two cars and a lorry in front! there was traffic coming so we waited and I actually thought he wouldnt go for it cause it was approaching a corner then suddenly out he went and flew past the traffic. I wasnt going to follow cause the g/f was about wetting the seat but then after a few seconds I decided stuff it and came out and passed the traffic! bye this time he was about 10 cars infront or more but after about three corners I was on his ass!

 

The zed was actually faster on a straight and through the corners! I was all over him (the only thing I could hear was the rip from his engine ) We ende up on a bumpy road and i slowed slightly so I wasnt right on his arse we both jumped a hump in the road and when he landed sparks went right over the roof of my car! He jumped on to the brakes and slowed to 30 at which point I done the same and gave him a flash and a peep. He clearly want impressed however and ignored this not even a flash of the indicators which actually made it even better for me!

 

My zed is running 291 at the wheels and has ap racing brakes and tein suspension etc but could have wiped the floor with it! I paid £7,300 for my zed and he pays £2000 per month to lease the ferrari! tell me a better car for the money!

well as soom of you know i sold me mental marble zed to fund my new motor 355 and when i took it for a test drive it kills the zed for power :bow:

Thats more like it! I love my Zed but this is a Ferrari 355 we're talking about for ****s sake, come on lets get real

er i say stop beatin on this guy.

 

firstly, it sounds like this guy rags his ferrari if he's willing to take so hard as to push sparks out everywhere. therefore, his car won't necessarily be as fast as standard anyway.

 

secondly, while a F355 does have 375bhp its at 8500rpm which the guy probably didnt reach down backroads. thirdly, the stats aren't hugely different between a zed and a 355.

 

the ferrari does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, the QM in 13 seconds at 109mph. top speed is also 180 mph. quite frankly i can quite easily believe that he had the ferrari, especially if this guy is a young inexperienced driver.

if its a 360 then he either cant drive or didnt push it, a 355 then evenly matched but 360 is faster, the spider is slightly slower??

As I said i dont know the model Its a really nice looking one and it was quick but he got smoked.

 

Even though some are saying its only cause he wasnt pushing it and that its cause it was backroads. The zeds are big and not best suited for backroads either and I can assure you he was going for it! He nearly wrote it off jumping and then slowed to 30mph!

 

Doesnt really matter what everyone thinks all I was saying was that I was well happy cause I thought that It would have been alot quicker and it definatley wasnt. I would race them all day long!
