Just had my Z MOTed. Passed no prob :hyper: . On new system for moting my Z (ser 2 , 1993) does not have to have a cat test. So de cat coming up :D

so i wrote a FAQ for it & put it in the FAQ section. ;)

 

the amount of times i reply to posts about MOT cat tests is unreal!! :headvswal

but he is saying that he is going to decat not can he decat as 1993 car wasnt tested or have i lost something here :confused:

so basically when i mot my car next as its a 1990 it is exempt from an emissions test?

I did read the FAQ on this subject but my point is that last year the mot test centre said it had to be cat tested because it was newer than 92. Now with the new system the computer tells them if it needs to be tested or not so no more gray area.

it was never a grey area - they were just wrong!!!
