stupid question after 6 years of ownership

...it's just that I've now got a manual NA after 6 years with an auto. So question is, how do you check the gearbox oil level / condition.

    Get underneath and remove the side plug (it is on the drivers side) pop your finger in the hole and you should feel the oil, should be 3.2ls i think (80w90)
