Installed a new smoke alarm recently in the hall, and its one of those wired up to the mains with a backup battery jobbies. Anyway has a green LED on it which is on constantly to show the mains is connected, and it casts a dim green circle of light on the floor. When the lights are off the hall is pitch black apart from this light, and the mrs walked down the hall and i suddenly heard a slight yelp, she had seen her own shaddow on the floor and scared herself shitless! :rofl::rofl:
