anyone know if this gearknob will fit a Zed?

The box it comes with is displaying a six speed box, as it's designed for the 350Z. Doesn't mean it won't fit, just that the writing on the top of the gear knob is wrong.

I've had the standard gear knob off recently and i found that any gear knob will fit but the only problem is that the gearstick itself is tapered towards the bottom by as much as 10mm so its much thicker at the bottom. Whatever gearknob you choose it will not go down as far as the original and you'll end up with a gap, unless you have a ball-type knob. I thought this could be solved with a collar tube you can buy from most car accessory dealers like halfords but again they're designed for universal fit and tube's internal diameter is not thick enough.

 

So IMO the knob will fit but you might end up with a gap between the base of the knob and the gator.
