Yeah have to agree, he is a very good actor and his style is very bond like! Although he didnt take much of an action / shoot em up role in layer cake his personality and the way he conducts himself is very bond like, very cool calm and collected! His way with women is similar too !

He is a good actor , cool and has prescence. think he'll fit the job. As long as he drives a modded zed with seat eject and underwater capability.
