Sorry to bring the jap/uk subject up again but I was wondering:

1/. On my Jap zed when I flash High beam on the low beam goes off which on most other cars doesn't happen is this the same on both UK and Jap?

2/. On my Jap zed if I turn the spot lights on the rear fog lamps come on with the same switch is this the same on UK spec as Jap?

Thanks chaps (in advance)

sounds like the importer foud an easy way to get fog on your car. mine are wired up into the rear cluster on two of the brake lights and are operated by a seperate switch fitted by the garage i brought it off.

think there is a mod to stop the lights going of when you flash the high beam

Thanks bud.

Jap Zed's dont have rear fogs as standard, so yes thats aftermarket wiring.

and the High/Low flash is same for Uk and Jap.

High beam and low beam only operate alone, not at the same time even when you use the "flash"

UK cars do not have front fogs as standard so the switch is for fronts on J-spec and rears on UK spec.

If your fogs come on together someone has done some dodgy DIY wiring to use the one switch.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
