Hi all,just been out in the rain and went to

turn off the ignition and it ran on for a

couple of seconds and the ariel stayed

up and with the key out of the ignition

the boost gauge goes up and down and

all the hicas abs battery lights etc come on

dimly then go off then on.It sounds like

a short but any ideas where to look.

It sounds like water ingress

 

Im no expert on the ZED but I wonder if that fuse box up by the drivers corner of the engine bay ever gets wet...windscreen washers are around there as well !!!

 

If youve got a heat gun (they are great £20) blow hot air on all the likely places you can think of or see water

 

then spray with WD40

 

If the problem goes away

 

Seal the leak
