I have never been Drag racing. I have seen some bikes doing the 1/4 mile at the Bull Dog Bash at Long Marston many moons ago but my question is:

What happens if it rains. Does the racing still go on? I cant imagine anyone getting a good time in the wet. I really have no idea. I know I am wide open for a piss take here but as I have never really been then I think its quite a sensible question?

At Santa Pod, there is no racing, and it will only contiune when its stopped raining and the track is totally dry.

when i went a couple of weeks ago it rained halfway through the day and they stopped running.

then when it stopped raining they spent over an hour drying the strip

First time I want Pod, it was raining and rained well past dinner time and then stopped. They spend a good 2 hours drying the track because it kept spitting while they where trying.

They managed it but had to close one side of the track because it was too slippy and a Supra nearly went into the wall. About 10 cars when and it poured it down and the canceled the day.

Lame asses come to Scotland well run cars if it snows
