We all fear the big "C". Cancer. Yet if you really think about how cancer affects the human body and then look at the affect the human race has on this planet there is a definate resemblance to both. So you would deny people's right to have children because every few years there is a drought causing droughts, most probably brought on by the pollution caused by the developed world.

 

Because we are pissing billions of tonnes of poisonous gases, which is making the air bad, causing the global warming and completely messing up the weather system which these people rely on to live, and have relied on for thousands of years, they should be denied the primary instinct of every living organism in this world, which is to reproduce?

If it was up to me I would only pay child benefit for the first 2 children. I would only pay unemployment to people that have officially lived in this country for 10 years and I would pay them with credit notes. Not beer/drug money.

If you are compairing to the birds article, the population is low not because they decided not to have any young this year, but they tried and either the young died from starvation or the parents died of starvation.

 

Considering people have lived there and thriving for hundreds of thousands of years and done well, its amazing that this problem is getting worse as the western world increases and as we burn more fosel fuels.

 

So maybe it should not be us asking the question why do they keep having children, because there is not enough food, but a question of why do we keep burning this shit because it is killing tens millions of people slowly every year thousands of miles away.

 

Perhaps we should cut down the population of the whole of the developed world. Less people means less dependence on energy which means less pollution, less green house effect, less global warming, which means less flooding in Europe and more rain fall where it is needed.

 

I find it amazing that when there are droughts in places like Africa there are more torential down pours in all over the world causing flooding.

 

There are towns in the UK, which now flood every year, but as early as 5 years ago never did. There have also been fatial floods washing whole villages away in France and Begium this year a lone.
