Got creamed on the M25 last night. Some one went up the back of me and pushed me into the back of another. In fact there were six domino's in all. I was sencond from front. Some guy in a honda went screaming into the back of a 928 (writeoff) which got pushed into the back of a Puma (write off) which got pushed into the back of a Saab which then hit me, pushing me into the back of a toyota. I was, for a second or two, stationary. So was the car in front and car behind.

My rear bumper fecked, front bumper, bonnet, front panel blah.

Now, I don't know how this is going to work insurance wise. Really, the guy at the very back was to blame. but the woman in front of me will probably claim on me and I will claim on the guy behind etc. I wonder how the insurance co's will look at it.

Yours sobbing,

Anders

:)

if you were stationary and can prove it and it can also be proved the guy who started the shunt in the first place was at fault then tell your insurance company so as they will liase with the woman you hit to claim from the guy who started it all you will need the details of all the other parties involved to coroborate all of the events

Anders as long as you are ok,thats the main thing.I have seen these nutters smashing into the back of each other at 70mph+,It could have been a lot worse.

Cheers guyz,

The police have told me that they will be prosecuting the driver at the very back. There are apparently 2 witnesses who saw him trying to jump into the lane just before he ploughed into the back of the first. All the insurance companies involved should recognise this guy as being at fault.

Johnny - we need to talk!

F***ing wanker, hope the insurance goes your way.

Anders, i have spare front panel, and i know where you can get bonnet and UK rear bumper already in white if you need it.

I guess they will try to settle as a write off first unfortunately, but haggle, and buy back ?

Cheers Craig. I'll let you know. A writeoff would probably be better!

Sorry to hear about that Anders. I hope you are ok and get the car sorted one way or the other.
