can someone tell me if the usa heater matrix is the same as the jap one??

 

As in are the pipes in the right place ,if one of these is ordered as a replacement ??

To the best of my knowledge they're handed and I don't think you can unbolt stuff and swap it around.

The matrix itself is identical the piping that goes through the bulk head it different so using the US matrix is fine

Great, happy to be corrected. The one I remember looking at I think we decided it wasn't possible to turn the pipes around. However, if you can reuse the old pipes then I can now see how that would work.

Works fine if you keep your old pipes. No problem at all and it only takes a few minutes to swap them around.
