Wellllllllllllll, my Z will not be at the Japshow im afraid!!

We got it running at about 90%, still a small miss, but wow, it was flying, took it on a couple of mile test, I had Skyline Dave in his Z following me and everything was pretty sweet, then the temp gauge shot up :(

Got it back home as it was only about 400 metres up the road and steam every where coming from the back of the plenum, we had a look and removed the split pipe and other ones to get to the culprit!!

Basically, yes we could get it sorted in time, but as it was coming off the road straight after the Japshow, i didnt want to take any chances as i want the lump in good order for my winter project! :D

I'll still be there to give any advise needed on running yer Z's :)

I'd like to thank, MickeyB, The Dark Warrior, MadHammster, Mark, b19rks, Spinksy and SkylineDave to helping me try to get the Z sorted and running well for this weekend!!

A slightly gutted Chunk!!

I know buddy, but TBH, i really cant be arsed to get this leak fixed to get another one start on the way to the pod!!

Plus its a Nissan water pipe only as its got bends in it, and chances that anyone has one in stock is hugely doubtful.

But, i'll just have to skip the 12's and get straight in the 11's in 2006 :D

Bugger about that pipe mate, makes me realise how much I am making the right choice rebuilding mine......and bypassing the plenum water pipes has gotta be done!!!

Nice to finally meet Yaz and Dave last night, spoken enough times but never met.... :)

It'll be good to see the comparison in our engines when finished, at the very least I want a low 11 second quarter......I aint gonna settle for anything less....

Roll on next spring...... :)

Cheers for all yer comments guys!
