Is the uk spec box the same as the jap spec, except for the

bellhousing?

 

Is the swb spec the same as a 2+2 except for the bellhousing?

 

so all in all can I replace my swb jap spec with a 2+2 uk spec

if I swop over the bellhousing, also I belive the manual jap spec

has no cooler feeds?

 

 

are my assumptions correct?

Bellhousings are the same between UK twin turbo and Import twin turbo only the NON turbo bellhousing is different in order to accomodate the different size ( smaller ) flywheel.

 

Both gear boxes have the cooler take off points, however on the jap spec they have plugs fitted to them which can be removed and piped to a cooler if you wish.

Yes the 2+2 box is the same as the SWB. ( bearing in mind the non turbo / twin turbo differences)

Just got to find a good one which is at the right price :rofl:

sorry to hijack but is it worthwhile fitting an oil cooler to the manual box as i thought is was only for the autos.

if so how easy is it to do
