The ultimate Z mobile phone logo

Clarkeys logo was cool, but I like this one better wink.gif

The colours dont really come across very well in the picture but they are quite vivid in real life.

Harve,

it can be sent but only via infra red or bluetooth wireless link. You'd need a T68 as well of course! If you have the phone, you can download MyPictures from the Ericsson site and transfer any picture you want to your T68.

I just bought a serial irda port for my home PC so that I could do this (and sync all my Outlook contacts/tasks/appointments). If you are gonna do this, make sure you get a serial ir adaptor and not one of the new usb irda adaptors. This is because Win2k and XP have changed the way USB works and the USB adaptors can no longer pretend to be a COM port for the ir modem on the phone.

I'm afraid my antiquated (but v.cool) Nokia 8110 8110_main.jpg can't cope with pretty pictures. Would it work on a Motorola Timeport ?

flash gits with their new fancy mobiles!

Very good but tbh i think its a bit too IN YOUR FACE!!! I like the subtle Z in the middle of my good old reliable nokia.. none of this colour screen malarky wink.gif

Andy,

I'm pretty sure it wont go on any phone that doesn't have a fancy colour lcd screen (or high res screen at least). I tried to reduce the picture to black and white but it loses all the detail and became useless (at the kind of resolution that most phone screens have).

Basically, unless you have an Ericsson, I dont think I'll be able to help (and only then, I can send the graphic file for you to transfer via ir or Bluetooth)

Cheers,

Andy

:)

Hehe. The stupid thing is that this "flash new colour phone" is cheaper than the 2 year old Nokia 8850 that it is replacing. And you can't even compare them, this phone is so much more advanced its scary.

If anyone has their contracts running out soon, get one of these phones, they are AWESOME (and I was a die hard Nokia fan for about 8 years!).

BWAHAHAHA. Funny you should say that. One of the first pictures I put on there was of questionably legality biggrin.gif

Also had a nice picture of my car on there. I think I'll just change the picture every week.

I've seen it in the xmas sales for £130. Much better than my old, non-colour Nokia 8850 which cost several times more!!!

Andy

Andrew,

I didn't think the 8850 had been out 2 years? That's the slidey-down front version of the 8210 type thing, right?

If it is.... did you trade your old phone in, or do you have it lying around?...... (leading question... biggrin.gif)
