ahem, only lehgal to fit a smaller plate if, due to the design of the bumper, a standard plate wont fit. Its a falacy(?) that all imported cars can have a smaller plate. However if you cut the white ends of a standard plate it looks a lot smarter and leaves you with standard spacing and standard letters, which you are more likely to get off with

Take a look at the pic of the bumper :slap: they have a SMALL space for a plate...so its legal to fit one, nothing said about being import ;)

Not quite - only the space on the rear of the Japs is smaller. You could fit a 12' x 5' on the front as there is no actual 'restriction' on the space. As far as I am aware, I could get pulled for my small front plate. Nothing so far though..

i haven't said anything ref rear, i am on about the front, if you have a small space to fit one on the front Like your front bumper you can fit one as long as it is readable :D ;)
