Brake lights not working!?

Picked up my Zed today - I'm well pleased.... Took her for a good blast and everything is a ok! The only thing wrong was a blown indicator bulb (or so I thought), until some cabby told me I had no frickin' brake lights!

I checked the indicators and all bulbs are ok, but the drivers side flashes twice as quick as it should, like they do when a bulb has gone. I have done some research on here about it, and I think it may be that little black box thingy(behind drivers rear light)?! Could the two faults be related? I'm gonna have a proper look tomorrow when its not raining and I'm not in odeon car park :D ...

If it is that black box, how much are they? And where could I get one from? Could I repair mine instead?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Matt

My indicators did the same thing, turned out to be a bad earth on the front indicator, clean up did the trick.

Try removing the bulb, cleaning the contacts well and see

Got it - Thanks for the number mate! I'm gonna have a proper play tomorrow to see if I can sort it out... Bloody annoying though! :headvswal

little black box thingy

Can anyone tell me where this is? I can't seem to find it! :-s
