Don't tell anyone this but I went to Halfrauds and got one of their batteries, it was only 80 something quid, and its rated to 700 cold start amps, and it has 'calcium' apparently.

Seirously though, I've got no compaints with it, it seems to hold a ridiculous amount of power- I've been trying to start my car for a couple of days with it and it hasn't missed a beat.

I'm using this optima yellow top..very good batteries..last very long time and have a very good reputation..expensive at around £200, but hey, to get the best...... And you can order them at your local halfords as well

i second this ..optima are superb!! get a red or yellow top . but any dry cell high capacity battery is good.

If ur gonna spend some money then you may as well get a Dry Cell Lightweight battery....

I think SlickPete was after one of these...might be worrth giving him a quick pm :)
