Hey guys - next problem!!! I got a 1990 non turbo manual IMPORT with original wheels but i got a problem. Recently discovered they're handed but i dunno if the front and rear wheels are physically a different width, app they are on the uk models but i dunno bout the imports. ANyway my serial numbers are 2x 40P00 L and 2x 40P05 R is this correct, cos they're all over the place. What does it all mean? I'm guessing the L and R stands for left n right but that would make two wheels with the same serial number on the same side of the car. COMPLETE COMFUSION HERE!!

i think im right in saying the wheels on j spec are the same width front and rear

Uk spec are wider at the rear than the front , L and R is left and right due to the design and for an aid to cooling the discs and dissapating the heat from them

that is correct sillen jap spec 225 all round uk spec 245 rear 225 front

aha things are becoming clear i got the same width wheels all round but i'm running 225 front and 245 rear. So what order these wheels supposed to go on cos i got one l and one r on each side :S ???

they are supposed to be wider wheels on rear to take the 245 tyres but you should have l/r wheels on apropiate sides
