B***dy Nissan Rust - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I suppose I should have known better than to get Nissan to repair (£300) a few light dots of rust around my rear wheel arches. Now its back and its setting in. (just over a year, not under warrenty)

I guess the only cure is to cut it out and I assume that means new rear arches, either stock or modified.

Or sell it. (maybe a little harsh)

a decent body shop should be able to sort that out, athough matching the paint colour gets to be a problem on older cars...

if you are thinking of bodykits anyway Jez, why not consider getting them done as part of a complete respray ?

That is when i will tackle the little spots i have in the same place..

I've just been on the phone to a bodyshop and they suggest a repair and welding up the seam etc. The good news is that the new WW Poly Urethane front bumpers are comming in very soon!

Darn - this is what happens when you don't wash your car for a couple of months - Supprise, rust here!

This is obviously your fault craig, if I weren't meeting up tonight I wouldn't have found the rust! LOL!

Some TD05s, Nitro and new cams will make me feel a lot better if you need any Christmas Pressie ideas.
