nah there not the hardest thing to fit, although a bearing puller or a tool to seperate the support makes life easier and to mark the 2halfs of the prop with tipex so it goes back the same

have car level off the ground with enough room to work

remove back section of exhuast

remove heatshields

remove brace that goes across prop

mark the 2halfs of the propshaft, before seperating

remove 2of the bolts to the prop

lift handbreak off,if an auto place in neutral

twist prop by hand,or turn wheel,so the other 2bolts can be accessed

remove 2bolts making sure you know which way they go back in,keep them in piles so you know which is which

undo the 2bolts holding the support bearing to the underside keeping washers in there place

drop propshaft and support bearing

now you have prop and bearing spin support bearing and check for roughness and play or damage to the bushing if there is! it need replacing place prop on bench with an air gun remove bolt, you need an airgun idealy as its very tight

once bolt is removed seperate suport bearing with puller

grease new bearing and refit making sure not to damage when fitting!torque bolt back up to the required amount and check for movement when fitted it should spin freely with no play

refit in the same order but reverse, making sure you align prop with the marks you placed

thanks il have to order the bearing in and il give it a go my self if i dont suceed il take it to dme motorsport just down the road and get charged a small fortune to fit it ha ha

thanks guys

is the car still safe to drive or shall i leave it to rust away for a wile till i get it fixed
