Just got back in - what a day!!!. Completed it, but slower than I anticipated as it was rather a HOT day!!! and they ran out of water at one if the water stops!!!!!!

Since getting back from the race I've heard the tragic news that 4 people DIED in today's run :cry: :cry:

No official news yet - but maybe something to do with the heat/de-hydration/ age????

 

During the run I saw several people being attended to by medical personnel receiving oxygen via facemasks. Also the ambulances seemed pretty busy all race!!!
