every time it rains over night, i start my z and it will not go over 3-4000 revs it will drive and if i drive about for a while it sometimes sorts it self out.my first thought was wet air flow meter but when i checked it was all dry.has anyone else had the same problem? any ideas would be appreciated.

when my airfilter gets wet it does the same thing, but if uve checked it then...

check for bad connections, the moistures probably affecting something electrical.

If you,ve got an aftermarket air filter you probably find water is dripping on to it between the nose panel and bumper , mine did exactly the same as yours .

Simple fix , take your nose panel off and make a shield to sit over the top of the filter, i made mine out of sheet plastic , works a treat :hyper: :hyper:

it shouldnt be the maf as i only changed it a month ago.when my old maf had gone the gear changes were more erratic(auto box) and it used to go in saftey all the time.now it only happens when its been stood over night in rain rest of time its fine.
