Does anyone use these in the snow?

And what are they like in the bad weather such as snow and rain etc.

Just like a normal car if driven like one ..its the nut behind the wheel that makes them

tail happy

Dont even think about it,I got caught out in Sunderland 3 years ago!

It was fine on the way there then the snow came down like no tomorrow. I was limited to 25mph driving back on the A1.

Not quite, a Rear wheel drive car with Wide tyres in the snow is very different to Most cars (FWD car with skinny tyres)

 u kidding? its the worst car ive ever driven in snow. doesnt matter how slow you go, the wide tyres just skate across, just NO!

rain is alright, but obviously you dont go as hard, and be prepared for wet roundabouts. drive it like a motorbike and itl be fine.

Fook that. I dont like driving mine in the rain let alone the snow. I havent had it during snow but like the bike.....It stays at home during snow and ice. If not for the fact that some other idiot could slide into you. I know all the bikers on here will agree with me that 2 wheels and snow dont go? I should imagine 300 wheels and snow dont go too? :duffer:

used to driving in snow in kazakhstan 3 months of the year ..never a problem for me in the zed maybe i am just used to it more than you guys ........mind you saying that in the winter in uk i do carry 50kg of sand in a bag in the back ..right at the back in the spare wheel well to be precise ...but i do that over here in the winter as well ....albeit in a lada niva ....sorry Chevy niva .......god awful things

When I drove mine everyday it was all weathers - rain, snow or ice. I must admit that in the snow you have to be a bit careful, but rain is just plain fun.

Who mentioned snow! Thats swearing out here in Canada. Its going to be on the ground for 5 bloody months! Some mornings cars will be completely burried, even houses can become burried. Luckily my Z will be tucked up in a heated garage all winter.

I wouldnt entertain driving them in the snow, there bad enough in the rain!

hehe, zeds in the snow, theres absoutely no doubt that will result in the untimely death of the car, we're talking scary sideways even with no throttle :p

You could always get a second set of skinnier wheels with snow tyres on. Thats what some people do out here in Canada. Would work out less than buying, insuring and taxing another vehicle.

Only and idea. Ive driven across snow at 80MPH with snow tyres and they feel safe as fook!

as viniboy said......doesnt matter how careful you drive in the snow, theirs always some idiot in a fiesta practicing drifting and coming right towards you.....my pushbike will be out for those days.......

My other car is a Voilvo S80 and that has a button marked "W" near the gear shift and its meant to be for snow conditions? we will see.

I don't avoid the wet, but won't drive in the wet unnecessarily (mainly 'cos I don't like getting the Z dirty!!), but I will NOT drive it in the snow. Not because I doubt my own abilities, but because my first Mk1 Astra got T-boned at about 3mph in the snow by some dizzy bint who hadn't got a clue how to handle a car in the snow.

However, 275's & loadsa boost in an empty snowy car park = BIG FUN!! :D:D
