HELP !!!!

 

Can anyone tell me how to lock off the engine so I can get the pulley off?

I presume you mean the bolt rather than the pulley itself. I'd start with a tight fitting ring spanner and give it a sharp whack with a rubber hammer.

You can take the starter off and lock the flywheel but i know some people put a socket and bar on the nut and crank it over so the bar touches the floor, then turn the key quick and the force will crack the nut. I've never done this myself except on army vehicles but as i said i know alot of mechanics that do. Knowing my luck i would snap somthin LOL :headvswal

use an air gun if you can get one

 

failing that wrap an ancillary belt around the water pump and the crank loop it back on itself start to undo crank pulley with 27mm and long breaker bar as the belt gets tight the pulley has no where to go,works everytime :D
