Boost pipe kit

Was wondering where you get the stainless boost pipe kit from like on Dannys car (ride pics) is there any advantage over samco pipes other than looks.Any idea on there cost Thanks Jamie

Probably the cheapest place I know of is Smithy - theres pics in his rides section. I forget the price exactly, a bit over £200 if I recall correctly..

Email him at cybercraft@manx.net

HKS also make them - somewhat more expensive, and probably a lot of other Jap tuners. I imagine Johnny @ GPS would be best for a price on these - but my money is on them being more expensive than smithys..

FWIW I have smithy's on my car - very nice, purge welded etc etc.. Plan on swearing a lot when you fit them though, they're a snug fit smile.gif

Edit - Damn you Iain for beating me to that! biggrin.gif

Yup! Got them from Smithy (a tad over £230 I think incl. postage). Looks fab but are a bugger to fit - plan on buying a bottle of fairy liquid wink.gif and not having much left at the end of the transplant. I found that one of the passenger side pipes was too long and needed shortening. Don't know if Smithy has changed the design accordingly yet. There's no real advantage over the original Nissan ones other than they are a lot less prone to splitting (obviously). As for the Samco pipes, there's no difference there either performance wise.

Smithy is your man for anything to do with brightening up your engine - prices are good, service is great and postage is blindingly quick!

Hope this helps!

Cheers mate,

Danny

Cheers Dan, yep made slight alteration to that pipe and have made fitting easier too, you'll love my next projects when there done, will keep yer posted, cheers, smithy cool.gif
