:headvswal I went back home to the usa... and was only gone 1 and abit weeks.... anyway. came back and fired the beast up strait away... and let it run for about 5 min. then yesterday.... tryed to start it up... wouldnt start.. was cranking over for about 10 min and periodocally tryed to fire but wouldnt.... finally it started and ran rough for nearly 1 hour..... I drove it and all seems ok now.. but I kinda got worried as these engines are a nightmere.. I didnt even know where to start.....

hmmm I think I need someone to do a tune up for me....

anyone in north yorkshire near hull grimsby area...

that knows what to do?

Could be as simple as the plugs failing. I had HKS iridium things in mine and they didn't last that long, shown up by poor starting. Replaced them with the proper NGK/Nissan plug and it started immediately.

I know thats easy enough... however whilst there I wanted the timming belt doing.. the oil changing (again easy) and a coolant flush out (again easy.)

but the timming belt is the one I wont touch... so full tune up.. lol

its just 6 plugs and 6 coil packs, it would be a Haynes 1 spanner job.

3 I woudl say considering you have to remove the balance bar and hoses to get to the back plugs.

so that means only a 30 min drive... or less if i am behind the wheel .lol.
