Don't forget to boycott BP and Esso - I can see that idea making a bit of an impression ;)

Just popped into town, every petrol station I passed had hardly any cars in them, and no Que's.

Either people in somerset are too wise to get into this Panic buying lark, or there just really slow at catching on. Im suspecting the latter.

my tank is empty but i won't be filling up, ill use my misse's fto mivic, whenever i work nights i use her car as its cheap to run and being triptronic easy to drive when im really tired on my way home and if i crash it tough its not my Z.

I have to drive to Manchester and have only got half a tank in the van. looks bleak dont it.

Question from govenment official: "How can we get even more money from the motorist?"

Answer from another: "Make out that there is going to be a protest. They will all go and panic buy then!"

dont come to grimsby its gone made !!! 3 stations are out of fuel already

and as for the strike lasting till fri think again !!!!! i live near some big fuel refinerys and ive been speaking to lots of lorry drivers and they all say they will stay till the end this time and not back down. so stock up its going to be a long one this time.

i wouldnt mind but theres nothing here in aber at all, every station is dry..

far as im concerend i got a premium car so im ok to pay a premium price for my petrol.

i just wish these fkn protesters wouldnt fuk it up for everyone else, sorry but im fkn annoyed, myz is my daily car and now im ****ed, i just had to ring all tomorrows clients and cancel the work schedule, all becuase these fkn hauliers want shit their way .. fuk me, most of em have thier trucks on the continent now anyway..

our esso stations here dont have any petrol coming in for the next few days. even shell..

ah i give in.. im selling my fkn car..

update: just had one client call me back and cancel the work i had arranged for them, being a company they cant afford to have too long a downtime, so i have now just lost over 5k in sales and fitting costs.

now im really pissed off...

Starting to queue now, four stations nearby and all of their forecourts are packed with cars...i managed to sneak in and get a full tank tho!! :D

No probs at all here apart from it costs me £60 to fill the Z and its gone in less than 150 miles FFS LOL :wack:

Fook getting a speed boat then, you need an oil tanker mate ;)

I have to use Optimax and its £1.08 :wack:

Cost me 78 Euro to fill up today :( and that's for lousy 95 oct :( Which will last me till thursday. ...............But It's worth it. WELL worth it even though i'm now skint till thursday! :wack:

Why  the protest is only till Friday, every one stop paniking and just use your daily drive for a few days, no need for all this stock piling :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

Ive just been told it's On Wednesday at fawley Refinery

there's a bad queue in the shell near Oadby - cars tailing back and blocking a roundabout - reckon 30 or 40 cars in all

and my tank's nearly empty

filled up 2nite no probs only me an the missus at the shell garage filled both cars as we need them for work an a can for me minimoto lol

I don't believe its 11 o'clock at night and there is still a 1/4 mile queue at my local tesco petrol station ! And they have no diesel left and there are are at least 5 ppl in the queue with diesel engines... managed to convince a few of them of it (as i was walking) but some of them had a go thinking i was just trying to make the queue shorter for me.....ah well they'll be at the pump soon :D

Shame they cant come up with a plan to stop people buying instead of scaring them into buying more.

I filled the my dads rover for him so he's not stuck.

My zed is bone dry, and its staying that way till all this is over, i got a company van, they have a tank full of about 4,000 litres of derv, so i wont be stuck for transport.

And if i do need to get the zed out, i'll just nip round to the petrol station i used to work at and get some, even if they've "run out of fuel"

I worked for total during the last protest, and i made more money in backhanders looking after valued customers, than i did in wages!!!!

In the space of 15 miles today, I saw Esso selling normal U/L for 90.9p per litre...which is pretty good considering. Also within that range, I drove past a Texaco station selling the same 'poverty spec fuel' for a whopping 100.9p!! Where do they get these prices from then???

Nice to see that the Yanks are still getting their fuel for about 35p a litre.

Kinda makes us glad we backed them in Iraq.

How can they have it so cheap? Surely it must be a lower grade or something or does this country really take the piss that much?

Not just this country, Belgium are in the same boat, Netherlands not far behind.

My mate in germany said she was paying something like E1.48 for regular petrol that cant be far behind us can it? (sorry got no euro symbol on kbd)

or does this country really take the piss that much?

No Blair & Co really do take the piss that much :headvswal

What do you think will happen when cars eventually run on water or some other readily, non-environment-harming power source becomes mainstream? Will road tax be £3000 a year or something? :xxx:

Europe is not far behind us true,

But bear in mind their minimum wage, average wage etc will be higher than ours.

Also look on that first link of mine, The UK COST PRICE of fuel is lower than anywhere else in Europe, yet it comes out the pump at the top of the scale, thats where its all going wrong.
