Hks Alc

It's probably been asked many times but what is the significance of the two LED's on the box? I've seen the green one on permanently but no sightings of the red one. Is this correct? Any info please.

One is power and the other lights when the unit is active - ie when you are changing gear at full throttle etc.

I've only seen the green light so far. Does the other light every time it's about to change gear even if not at full throttle?

No. If your RED light doesn't show on WOT gear change then I would check your wiring. Make sure the nut that clamps 2 connector blocks isn't overtightened (or loose!). And also, actually push in all the wires into the block, making sure they haven't been kinda pushed out - if that makes sense.

Yeah I kinda found the lights mis-leading as Green is on all the time i.e. power is getting to the unit and then red should light up whenever you floor-it like the 'power' light on your dash. This means the ALC is doing its stuff. If you don't see the light then you probably over-tightened the connector or bent a pin or something. Hope its the former
