I've had a Zed (Import TT auto) which cost me a lot of money and leaked oil on the drive and was sold for the wrong reasons, and I've also had a 200zx on which nothing went wrong but it was er... boring. I liked my MR2 (MKII)but that was 15 years ago and I'm a tad stouter now.

Mid life crisis is arriving and I'm not enough of a nutter to get a bike. So I find myself with a bob or three in the back pocket and a hankering for a car that will kick me in the seat of the pants. Convertible or T-Top is preferred, a degree of reliability is hoped for, heaps of fun is a must.

Should I get back into Zed ownership? It would be a Funday drive so is a TT the way to go or a lightly tuned NA?

id buy a TT as if your use to a 200sx then an NA will feel like that with out a kick so id say a TT remeber there getting on 12-15years old expect some maintanace etc and put some money aside for any niggles but if you find a good one that has been looked after then there is no reason to worry about big bills, check the FAQ for buyers guide failing that im sure someone would come along with you to help check it over!

a TT is a fantastic car for the money and you wont find better perfomance for the money

good luck

Well I have a manual N/A as my daily driver and it looks the mutts nuts (see my rides pix), goes well and as for fun factor:- RWD, 220 odd BHP and a heavy right foot = :D

Running costs are sensible:- classic car insurance = £330 fully comp, MPG = 24, spares can be sourced at sensible prices using ebay and this site and no Turbo probs to worry about.

Good luck with whatever choice you make.................

The way prices are looking i,d get another tt if i were you, you should be able to pick one up cheap and get any problems sorted before they even arise !!

Gtr!!!!

So why are you called Z32!!

Anywoo, Barry, Get a TT, i had a stock S13 for a daily driver and as much fun as it was it was very slow compaired to the Z, Dont get me wrong i have driven a few NA's and they are nice, but if your used to turbo power then thats the way to stay :)
