Hi guys, bit of abuse of my position, but it's something im personally involved in, and it really is a cracking day out.

Firstley, this event is at Castle Combe Race Circuit on Saturday 1st October, 10am till Dusk. It is purely a fund raiser for The Stroke Association.

What happens is, there are a range of different cars, with the owners, who volenteer to take passengers for 5 laps around the circuit, from £20-£40.

The range of cars are from early classics, to radicals, with allsorts in between.

Last year, we had John Chattom and his sons taking people out, as well as a few others, this guy retired almost 30 years ago, and himself had a stroke a few years ago, but believe me, he ones one of the fastest lapping, in a Healey 3000!!

This year as an added attrcction there will be 8 rally drivers doing an auto test in the morning, which should prove entertaining. Spectators may then test their own skills on this fun course.

There is an oppertunity to drive your own car around the circuit for a fee, should you wish to, during the lunch break, please either, (a) apply to Nick Agg-Manning, who is collating cars and drivers, at the following address;

Eveleighs Farmhouse,

Gittisham,

Nr Honiton,

Devon

EX14 0AF

OR (b) Report to the Registration Room in the Control Tower as early as possible on the day.

This is a really good day out for all motor enthusiast's, and a great oppertunity to help a great cause, so if your intrested I will see you there.

Hi there - I have just sent off money the Z Club raised for the Stroke Assiocation (collection started by Kevin Bristow who drove on the day) and I have asked the organisers if they would like a Z car display next year - would you be up for joining forces on this?

I'll let you know what they say, hopefully they will be up for a bit of a car show area
