sorry for my ignorance but here we go

i have fitted an apexi filter to my 92 N/A and i was expecting a different sound than the standard box but sounds the same

i think i read that updating the re-circ valves would change the tone. is this right ? I have a gurgling sound from my nearside wing and i have been told that this is the re- circ valve probably with a cracked case

Gurgling is the AIV valves, you wont have recircs on an NA as you have no turbos.

I fitted a Blitz SUS induction and very happy with the change of noise, I dont believe the Apexi makes so much difference with noise but could be wrong there, heres a link about the gurgling sound.
