hi i jus signed up on here cos im thinkin of buyin a 300 tt!

 

what are they like?

 

seen quotes of 60 in 7.1! this cant be right can it??!!

 

how are they to work on and what they like to get parts?

 

heard that the engine has to come out every time something cos wrong cos its so cramped in the bay?

 

do things go wrong much?

 

and lastly! are they as quick a the supra tt? (wanted one but i dont have 9k!) is the 300 tt the next best thing, or even better!

Depends on what tubbys you have and who does it buddy, Try calling Z-tech, Zen garage (oth in the traders area) and other nissan specialists!

yea the more i think of ownin one and taking it out on a late night run the more i want one! and in guess a 400hp zx could show the skyline/evo/scoob................./supra boys a thing or 2! :tongue: :dance:

is havin 2 heads and 4 cams a problem aswell?

You can sort out most problems without taking out the engine..

cos this is the only problem that bothers me, cos ppl have been sayin turbos,gaskets,heads, cams and stuff u gotta take the engine out?!!

If you want my advice? Spend a little more and get a good low milage 300ZX with a bit of history. Then worry about the repair bills when it goes wrong mate. The thing is you cant spend your life worrying about the car going wrong all the time because you wont allow yourself to enjoy it and thats the best thing with ownership of a 300ZX.... Enjoying it. They are a great car and as already said, fast good looking, comfortable, and COOL! I have got a 19 year old son who is into everything fast and furious and he loves my car and wants it handed down when he is 21. Yeah ok. he can buy hes own.. :cool: I am keeping mine for as long as I can still drive.

Oh yes. one more thing to add......

There are soooooo many mods for this car you can make it look and go like what ever you want to. You aint gonna get that from a supra?
