Been looking around for some decent coilovers and came across these being sold at just £525 which is really good and done a search on the company and all looks well :)

Features are:

Full length adjustable shocks, meaning you can set the ride height without making the ride crap at the same time.

Spring pre load adjustment

Full height adjustability - they can go LOW

Upper mounts included

32 way adjustable damping

Warranty is provided of course. You can also specify the spring rates you wish to have and your damper set will be re-valved accordingly to best suit the springs you choose. Spring rates are available from 4kg to 22kg front and rear.

Anyone think this is a good deal ??

cheers

I need to be able to set my suspension height ATM I have KYBs which have a fixed spring seat.

Paul, I am in no way an expert on this subject >>>>> Do you know anything about spring rates..dont we need to know what the std car is set to to make a judgement. Also what deflection do you get at 4KG or 22KGs ??

BTW your price seems brilliant......

sounds excellent! I think most coilovers eg Tein are set around the 10-12kg mark, and the Eibach springs are around 4Kg.

Do you know if they can also supply progressive springs?

Anyone know what the stock spring rating is ?

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi Mate

Yeah just found it on the Aussy site

European 300zx 90 - 96

Front 146 lb/inch Rear 146 lb / inch

Translates to 2.6 Kg / mm

So Id want the soft option for a road car and start at 4kg (/mm) with appropriate valving.

Still feel that im fishing in the dark here, I have not enough knowledge to purchase with confidence.

I need to get a good conversation with one of those guys with pens in his shirt pocket that goes on a bit on the phone but really knows his stuff.

Did anyone purchase these ?

Yeh i have im just waiting for them to arrive.Another 2 weeks to go :hyper: :hyper:

In did buy a kit £610 but unfortunately Dan the proprietor of SRB Power has not been herd of in about 5 weeks

I bought into a group buy on the Skyline Forum and nobody on that forum knows where he is or whats going on...there are others who need to speak to Dan.....lets hope he is not unwell...but after 5 weeks it seems bad.

Does any one live in Greys Essex who could just see if he is around ??

Steve ....When did you last speak to Dan Patch from SRB Power ??

oh dear....hope it turns out ok, I was looking at them myself :(

What spring rates did you go for...I notice on their website it says for the 300zx :

Front 13kg mm

Rear 7kg mm

But they offer a choice of spring rates...does this mean they also revalve the dampers for the various spring rates

Am sure it will, he's very popular on the sxoc forum and plenty guys there are now running G-force set ups. John just ring him as i know he's a busy bloke being a trader on many forums ;)

I spoke to him 2 weeks ago and he said there had been a mix up in the shipping so they would be here in about 3 to 4 weeks.

Half the order had arrived but the other was shipped later.

He was very apolagetic.

Oh well that cheers me up a bit thanks for the support guys

My chosen spring rates are 4 to 5 keys cos my Z is being kept as a GT car not a racer and I have just received 19" rims from the US so im trying to keep to softer ride. I really wanted to get a fully adjustable coilover and thats the problem according to some of the guys on the Skyline site the G-Force Coilover adjust real low but cant be jacked up. They will need an increased thread length.

Dan is working on that for someone and I need to speak to him and ask him about that.
