Front strut question

My NS front strut appears weaker than the OS, when going over a speed hump on the OS all is ok but on the NS (same bump, same speed) it goes with a bang or clunk as if it hits the stopper  and is worse the harder/faster I hit it.

Would that be a weak spring or shock/damper.

She only passed MOT a few weeks ago but was doing this before the MOT.

Sounds like a duff shocker - check for wetness around it in case its lost its oil - in which case its stuffed.

If one side if gone, then the other wont be far off, and the rears would be due for renewall as well. After 13/14/15 years, even on low mileage the weight takes its toll and the stock shocks will be knackered.

it could also be caused by worn suspension bushes (the zed tends to eat tension arm bushes)
