Hi guys, just been reading the posts of new subscribers, there's lots of people been waiting for stickers etc and 'jonrms' made a good point - what do you get for your money here, stickers and access to the forums? - what else.

 

Seems like a lot of money for some stickers i'm never likely to get. When i was in the RS Owners Club many years ago i got a monthly mag, keyring, stickers, discounts and a few other things for the same money.

Stickers arn't the point mate! You get all the answers to any question you could ever ask about Zeds, and you support the forum by paying £20 (which isn't much really is it?) to keep those answers coming. Plus you get to throw abuse around all day without any being able to punch you!

And yes I got my stickers!

You are able to enter the group buys from our traders, park on our club stands at big events and show off your Z next to the best in the country!!

 

Oh and most importantly get stickers!! eventually LOL!!

If your that bothered about your stickers I will find mine which I never got around to sticking on and send them to you for 30p to cover postage. P.S for me it was never about the stickers it was about the friendly advice, and the chance of meeting some really cool friendly fellow Z drivers. I have enjoyed being a member.

i did think there was a mag when i joined, but i take it there isnt (not too bothered though).

 

anyway apart from the stickers, the help and advice is worth alot more than £20.

 

saved myself £££££££££££££s on car insurance from an insurance number off here.

 

saved £££££££££££s on group buys of some items.

 

so IMO £20 well spent......but then if you dont pay to subscribe you wont get the full benefit.

 

and if no one paid i take it the site would shut down.

brief history:

 

for many years the forum known as 300zx.co.uk was run by Craig & membership grew & grew. the members consumed huge amounts of bandwidth & took up all of Craigs waking time. In the end Craig could no longer keep the said forum running for the members as it had outgrown his ZX (geddit ;) ) Spectrum based server.

so a few years back the decision was made for members who loved their cars & the forum & all the other people on it to buy some proper hardware, the software needed to run it & the bandwidth that was costing £££'s per month. the only way to do this was with subscriptions.

Thus 300zx.co.uk continues to survive much to the rejoicing of all the members.

Believe me, the first time you get to show your car on the club stand makes the £20 well worth it. Plus the continual abuse I get from fellow members is always good for a laugh :D

wow didn't mean to offend anyone here, I paid the 20 quid remember! and so far got my moneys-worth, not bothered about the stickers just wanted to know what other benifits i would get, suppose i could have phrased it a bit better.

 

Please don't let this affect any help you wonderful people give on this forum to stupid idiots like me...won't happen again.

1.For yer 20 squids you get tons of abuse (ask indian zx)

2. You get to see how post whores grow by the day (see black magic)

3. You get to drool over the pics of mac,s HUGE turbo,s and him yak on about red is faster :xxx: :x:

4. You get to talk to me!! (thats always a plus i think as i always talk to myself in my house caus my kids dont listen to a word i say!!)

..so how do you get the discounts? If I phone one of the traders listed i could be anyone with a Z'd, how would they know?
