does the odometor on the car go up to 5 or 6 figures? I've seen a newly imported 90 model advertised with 32k km on the clock and wondered if its gone round the clock or not? Seems incredibly low miles even for an import.

6 figures - very easy to 'adjust' if you really wanted to though ....

It is easy to work out how many figures the odometer has by counting the numbers

cheers for a quick reply. It does seem too good to be true for a 15yr old car. What's the general opinion on whether a Zed hides it's age well? Especially in the usual wear on seats, steering wheel and trim bits?

many many speedo are clocked mate , Personally id never trust a jap imports milage on the speedo as ive had 3 imports so fat and none were accurate !! worst one was a subaru that said 65 kmh but had done over 170 !!!!! Check things like wear on seat , wear on rubbers on pedals ect.

thanks, I realise that but I don't have a car in front of me and can't remember from memory on the ones I've seen what it was.

Also, the odometer on the zeds are prone for sticking. Mine done this so I bet I could add another 10K to my milage!!! Something to watch out for... ;)
