Is there a guide for hardwiring a Road Angel?

Now that I know it won't be illegal anytime soon, I'd like to free up the lighter socket and hardwire my Road Angel. Anyone know of a guide, please? (preferably with pics)

    i got a hard wire in my kit for my snooper which i wired to the stereo + and- feed. then fed the cable behind the cluster, which then comes out of the dial cluster hood to the unit
