Hi, my car's been running really sh1t lately so I stuck it into Nissan to find out what's wrong (I know!! but Baggins is on holiday! :( )

They have said it's the Mass Air Flow sensor, but they want £562.28 for it (fitted!!)

My question is, are these straightforward to fit myself?

(As far as I remember I had to remove and refit it when I fitted my induction kit?)

Quick answers appreciated as Nissan are waiting for an answer!!

There was one on ebay last night for 8 quid, someone breaking a car and selling all the bits.Possibly didn't know the value. Sorry i don't have the link and my computers too slow to go back and get it, but if you do a search on 300zx you'll surely come across this guy. Sorry I didn't buy it myself for backup!

Nissan will gladly take you're cash for this common replacement on the 300zx. There should be a sticky on this and the ptu for newer members and people not too familiar with the car. I'm sure a lot of members have got stung before realising it. These parts are always floating about on the forum somewhere.
