Heated seats ?????????

did they all have this ? or am i gonna be simpled here, and find i have it too

I have fitted UK 95 spec heated leather in mine. I gave the seats a direct feed with nice size cable. These seats draw a fair bit of current so dont use speaker cable!

Both my seats are just good for power movement at the moment as I never did get round to connecting the heater contlol switch. I believe all the relays are built into the seat but not 100% sure. Maybe someone can clarify ;)

The contol button also needs to be wired up. I know on mine the wing mirror connector is different and you also loose use of the folding mirrors. I've got to jig something up there when I get more time ;)

so its really just a case of supplying power to the heater element?

i an going to buy two illuminated switches from the likes of maplins and wire them up as i cannot source the original heater buttons.

i would fit a relay - its not so much supplying a decent sized wire (tho you need that too!) but that the switch will eventually burn out switching that amount of current on & off

Deffo need a relay. But like I said they may already be built into the seat?;)

Need someone to clarify. I aint got my car at the moment so cant check for ya.

If not you can buy a relay and holder from any electrical wholesaler. (12v) Wiring up is fairly easy and a diagram should be given in th e packet.

Will draw you a diagram though if you get stuck.;)
