ive checked tps with a multimeter it was readin 0.48 ive now adjusted it to 0.45

ive also dissconected battery (to reset ecu)

have i done this right and would running tps at 0.48 make a difference with the running of my engine

the probs i was having was overfuel consumptoin, stalling on pulling away randomly backfiring (only slighty though) throughout the rev range when driving

ive also changed the maf (which i did before resetting the tps) which didnt seem to make much of a difference only made it feel a little more responsive and wasted a tenners worth of fuel in 19 miles

so am i on the right tracks so far checking the tps and resetting ecu

thanx in advance (again lol)

Mine did the same when it had a fault TPU. If it doesn't work then the Z will over compensate on the fuel to stop it from killing the engine and hence stalling probs at low RPM!! Got a brand new one and mine and it cured all problem, you are spot on as CadPaul said with the voltage but just make sure your idel stays constand and 750 when it's warmed up!! Acceleration should also be slightly better at low RPM as the TPU sends and signal to the ECU to adjust the mixture etc so it doesn't need to run rich at low RPM!! Hope you get it sorted mate!

TBH aslong as its between 0.40v and 0.50v at idle thats fine 0.48-0.45v would make no differance
