so im now on the lookout for another nsx..

just goes to show , best way to buy any supercar these days, albeit a zed, nsx, lambo etc... have someone who knows their stuff with you..

ps: if you know of an nsx in mint condition from 95 onwards let me know..

My mate who had 2 x 300zx's went on to an NSX and had nightmares with people how could (or should I say couldn't) work on them. It ended up being vandalised and trying to spray the ali panels was an absolute pain.

I drove it and personally wouldn't of swapped my 300 for it. Absolute raw power but not impressed with it :(

Good luck

Yeah... NSXs... I still do kind of think they're quite cool. But you know that, well certainly the latest version of the NSX (which looks basically the same as the old version), is actually slower 0 - 60 than even the 2+2 TT ZX? I couldn't believe it. There's only about 0.4 seconds in it, but still, I was gobsmacked when I found this out. These are from figures I read on the Sunday Times website with respect to the most recent Optimax cards competition, so may be subject to some dispute I imagine.

I could never understand all the fuss about the NSX. 280bhp yeah that is a lot but it must be horrendous costs to get the sort of power a modded zed can get with just £1K.

Theres one in the Honda garage near me in Plymouth, about 15miles further south west pk. Don't know any details but looked looked good from the outside. I'm going past maybe tomorrow so can check for you if you want, I may be too late to get them open though. I really want to try one so maybe I'll test drive it!

Really though, the NSX isn't about 0-60 times or 1/4 mile times, it's about sublime handling (and having the engine in the right place :D).

I think the Zeds does a good job of that mind, V6 engine short enough to stick behind the front axle almost. Trying its best to be a mid engine!

I do think the NSX is a cool car, always had a bit of a fascination with them. But......the rear end..why is it so ugly? :(

From every other angle its a superb looking car. The Zed however looks perfect from every angle. Also, the last time i looked at autotrader they were serious money. Not sure why, maybe because they are quite rare . I'd still like to own one though.

Thats a great phot in your sig mate. Very good perspective on the car. Highlights your rear end comments. Dave

i love the nsx, just to costly,id be happy with stock NA power and i like the backend of an nsx

How often do you guys see them around the UK? I've never seen one in the flesh.

about as often as i see a lambo not very often!

I have only seen one once around Telford, they must be a very rare car as we get almost everything around here.

the only time I seen one was at a set of lights - he pulled up next to me and I WASNT in the zed - I was in the missuses car - Gutted :(

extremely rare then. Must be because of price. But why are they still so expensive?
