I think my zed is overfueliing quite bad, I havn't found any leaks in the fuel system and the system seems to be pressurised properly.

MPg has dropped to around 11 and there is an aura of petrol smell around the car,= when driving, I think i heard the exhaust pop yesterday at about 100mph also. I've recently had new o2s and cats put on.

car also idling at 1000rpm and hesitates at times when pulling away,

any ideas where to start looking?

car is stock boost with stock ecu,

I'm trying to sort out my overfuelling too- but I notice that BlackMagic lists the fuel damper as being on the right side as you look at the picture, whereas AndyP says it's on the left.

Is this car orientation vs picture orientation, or is one of you wrong?! ;)

Havnt got the fogiest bud

I just copied and pasted it from somewhere else on here but I couldnt find the original thread to link it to :duffer:

'Fraid the service manual agrees with Andy!

Tried blanking off the damper- still overfuels like a nutter. Ho hum. Well it wouldn't be a Zed without a really annoying thing that you just can't quite find out what the problem is... :slap:

can be the ecu temp sensor as this tells the car when its warm, but if not working car will stay on choke even when at temp, there is a seperate temp sensor for the dials so can confuse you. its ecu code 13, also blow around egr valve
